Panglao Island is a peaceful, relaxing, and accessible tourist destination in the province of Bohol. It is near Tagbilaran, and is accessible by a bridge which makes it a drivable destination. Panglao is famous among Filipinos and foreigners for its well-maintained white sand beaches and blue waters – a favorite among beach lovers.
The best time to visit this island is between April and July, when the weather is hot. However, there will also be a corresponding influx of tourists during these months, so plan your trip accordingly. It is best for you to avoid the typhoon season between August to October to avoid getting caught up in troublesome situations.
When you’re in Panglao, you don’t only get the beaches and the sea. But you can also go spelunking in caves, test your adrenaline on cliff jumping, and even visit falls nearby! A one-for-all tourist destination indeed.
