The so-called cave is a hole in the ground filled with water that is 10-18 feet deep. The water is so clean and clear that it shimmers under the sunlight.
Not for the faint of heart, this thrill-seeking cave challenges the bravest of the brave to have the time of their lives jumping and swimming in the natural pool. With a color like blue gatorade, some visitors are even fooled into almost drinking it.
Once you’re at the water, you get to see the entire cave in its glory. With hanging stalagmites on the ceiling, you can just float away inside the cave and marvel at the different rock formations. When you’re in Bohol, make sure to spend a day in the province of Anda and look at their famous hole!

From Tagbilaran to Cabagnow Cave
1. Hail a tricycle and ask them to bring you to Dao Terminal.
2. At the terminal, ride a bus or van heading to Anda. This will take about 3 hours or more.
3. Once you’re in Anda town proper, ride a tricycle or a habal-habal to Cabagnow Cave Pool.
Things to do at Cabagnow Cave
1. JUMP HEADFIRST INTO THE POOL
– Do not hesitate and jump your way down the pool. It’s 10-18 feet deep, so you’ll be safe.
2. SWIMMING
– Spend a few minutes inside the pool and swim your heart out in the blue gatorade-like waters.
3. USE A FLOATIE AND STUDY THE STALAGMITES
– Meditate or just look at all the stalagmites while you’re relaxing on the floatie.
4. SNAP A LOT OF PHOTOS
– Don’t shy away from taking your aesthetic photos for the gram!

1. Bring along non-slip footwear to guard you against the slippery stairs.
2. Bring extra clothes if you plan on swimming.
